Corrine McLaughlin, Founder & Shaman

ROOTED IN SOMETHING DEEPER

Royal Roots was never meant to be just a wellness brand. It became an expression of the way I live.

I’m Corrine McLaughlin — founder of Royal Roots, former social worker, spiritual wellness practitioner, facilitator, artist, mother, and a woman deeply shaped by the people who came before me.

My relationship with this work began long before there was a business attached to it. I came to spiritual practice through my own search for something deeper — something that could hold the parts of our lives that aren't always reached through conversation alone. Over the years, my background in psychology and social work began to meet my study and practice of energy work, shamanic traditions, ancestral veneration, meditation, sound, ritual, and the many ways we learn to come home to ourselves.

Royal Roots grew from that intersection.

Today, the work takes many forms. Sometimes it looks like sitting across from someone as they make sense of a season of their life. Sometimes it's a sound bowl vibrating through a room, a bracelet chosen with intention, oil worked into the skin, tea steeping in the morning, or a painting that seems to find the person it was meant for.

I don't believe wellness needs to be complicated to be meaningful. And I don't believe spirituality needs to be removed from ordinary life to be sacred.

Royal Roots is about remembering what many of us already know somewhere deep down: care can be ritual. Rest can be ritual. Joy can be ritual. The things passed down to us can become medicine, and the things we choose to create can become something worth passing forward.

This business has also become one of the ways I honor my own ancestors. They aren't a marketing concept here. They're part of the story. Their lives, their lessons, their joy, their losses, and the things they loved continue to shape how Royal Roots moves through the world.

So whether you arrive here looking for something to place on your wrist, something to bring into your home, or an experience that allows you to go a little deeper —

welcome.

There are many ways to come home to yourself.
